WedWow Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026.
WedWow is an iPhone app by Tepesoft that generates wedding photo concepts from photos and style choices that you provide. This policy explains what the app processes and why.
Data we process
- Photos you choose: WedWow processes only photos you select in the app for generation. The app does not request broad photo library access.
- Generation details: wedding style, quality tier, output format, face-lock preference, source image filename, and couple name text entered in the app.
- Purchase and credit data: product identifiers, subscription or credit-pack events, credit balance, and credit usage tied to a WedWow customer identifier.
- Anonymous usage and approximate location analytics: interaction events, selected style and quality identifiers, funnel outcomes, product identifiers, device and app attributes, a random device identifier, and approximate country, region, city, postal area, and coordinates derived from the request IP. PostHog discards the IP after location enrichment and does not store it. Analytics never include your photos, names, prompts, or generated images.
- Support messages: if you use the feedback form, we process the message, optional reply email, and optional screenshots or recordings you choose to send.
How data is used
We use this data to provide app functionality: generate requested wedding image concepts, manage credits, restore purchases, prevent duplicate credit grants, troubleshoot support requests, keep the service reliable, understand where people continue or leave the app experience, and compare product outcomes across broad geographic areas.
Service providers
WedWow uses Apple In-App Purchase for payments, RevenueCat for subscription and purchase infrastructure, PostHog for anonymous product and approximate location analytics, a Tepesoft backend for credit accounting, and third-party Runware/OpenAI image services for image generation. Before any generation, the app asks for your explicit permission to send the selected photos and generation details to Tepesoft and these image services. They receive this data only to fulfill your request. PostHog does not receive those photos or generation details. PostHog uses the request IP only to derive approximate location, then discards the IP.
Tracking and ads
WedWow does not show third-party ads and does not use your data to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Website analytics
If you select Allow analytics, this website loads Tepesoft's self-hosted Umami analytics and Microsoft Clarity with strict text masking. They measure public-page visits, referral and campaign tags, device and browser details, approximate network location, clicks, and scrolling. They do not receive couple photos, generated portraits, credit balances, feedback text, attachments, or anything from the iPhone app. Select Analytics choices at any time to allow or withdraw access.
Retention
Generated concepts saved in the app are stored on your device. The backend stores customer identifiers, credit balances, credit usage, and purchase event identifiers needed to operate purchases and credits. PostHog stores anonymous usage events and their approximate derived location so we can measure and improve the app. Photos are processed for generation and are not used by Tepesoft to train models.
Your choices
You can turn anonymous usage and approximate location analytics off inside WedWow at any time. Turning it off stops future analytics events and GeoIP enrichment. You can also reset AI photo sharing consent; after you reset it, the app will not send newly selected photos or generation details until you consent again. You can remove saved concepts in the app and delete all remaining local app data by deleting the app from your device. For purchase, credit, support, analytics deletion, or other deletion requests, use the WedWow feedback form.
